Indian cybersecurity firm CloudSEK has secured $19 million in fresh funding to boost its AI-powered threat intelligence capabilities and expand globally. The company announced the raise on Tuesday, combining Series A2 and B1 rounds. This follows a prior $10 million raised across its seed and Series A funding.
The round drew participation from both new and existing investors, including MassMutual Ventures, Inflexor Ventures, Prana Ventures, Tenacity Ventures, Commvault, StartupXSeed, Neon Fund, and Exfinity Ventures, along with several angel investors.
Founded in 2015, CloudSEK specializes in predictive cybersecurity. Its core mission is to help enterprises detect and mitigate cyber threats before they escalate. Rather than reacting to attacks after the fact, CloudSEK’s platform uses AI to scan the surface, deep, and dark web—spotting leaks, stolen credentials, identity threats, and compromised vendors before incidents occur.
AI That Thinks Like an Attacker
What sets CloudSEK apart is its proactive approach. By continuously monitoring an organization’s attack surface—including web and mobile apps, third-party vendors, supply chains, and infrastructure—it identifies misconfigurations, exposed data, and vulnerabilities as they emerge.
CEO and co-founder Rahul Sasi emphasized this shift in approach: “Unlike conventional threat intelligence that focuses on indicators of compromise after an attack, our platform detects the earliest signals—leaked credentials, exposed APIs, compromised vendors—weeks before an incident unfolds.”
CloudSEK currently supports over 250 organizations across key sectors like finance, healthcare, government, and technology.
With this latest investment, CloudSEK plans to double down on its AI model development and deepen platform integrations to better serve global customers. The company aims to become the go-to solution for enterprises seeking AI-powered threat intelligence that goes beyond reactive alerts.
As the cyber threat landscape grows more complex, early detection and predictive insight are becoming critical. CloudSEK’s unique angle—thinking like attackers—could give enterprises the edge they need to stay ahead.
